When life gives you lemons, make lemonade

Alum, Jonathan, has exhibited perseverance in the face of adversity and his pursuit of making the Finance industry more accessible warrants recognition. His journey to being a matriculated college student and now a college graduate, demonstrates the power of support from family and leading by example. It was Jonathan’s mother, who worked a full-time time job, while enrolled at Community College (straight A student too) and raising children as a single parent, who represented hope and inspiration for him. Founder of the Brooklyn College Investment Club at the Koppleman School of Business, he’s currently obtaining a MS in Economic Analysis at Brooklyn College. He actively seeks to expand his knowledge in Finance by attending various programs, bootcamps, and workshops, including FirstGenU by America Needs You and EverUp micro-credential by and The New York Jobs CEO council.

We want to give him recognition as an individual with GRIT, in the fields of , , and . 💐💐
