Monday Motivation

The path is not what you think it is. It doesn’t look like what you think it will. It doesn’t always feel guided or blessed.

You will get lost. You will lose faith. You will quit.

And then, subtly, unknowingly, you’ll pick up the trail again. You’ll receive a sign, a hint. And for that brief glimmer, you’ll be renewed.

You must trust and keep going.

If anything this virus has taught is that there may be no “next time”. And this isn’t a travel the world statement, though that is also true.

But in the end it’s always the relationships. The people who’ve come in and out of our lives that give life its sweetness.

It’s the small moments. So drive out of the way to see that friend. Let that hug linger a while. That conversation drift into the night. Share that last piece of pie😉
