Exciting news! LEAP to Teacher is now available at City Tech.

We are thrilled to expand our services and support students at New York City College of Technology, in addition to our partner colleges: BMCC, Bronx Community College, Brooklyn College, College of Staten Island, Lehman College, Medgar Evers College, CUNY SLU, and Queens College.

LEAP to Teacher is here to support school and daycare workers as they continue their education and work toward their goals.

After earning his undergraduate degree in film, Kyle went on to earn a master’s in Childhood Education from the College of Staten Island. Today, he is fully certified and working as a substitute teacher.

What we love about Kyle’s story is that he did not leave his interest in film behind. He added a new passion to his life: education. Now, he is thinking about how to bring storytelling and content creation into the classroom.

Kyle’s journey is a reminder that continuing your education can open new doors and help your passions grow in new ways.
