Lehman College Social Work Info Session

Social work offers many opportunities in different specialties and settings that includes schools, hospitals, outpatient services, nursing care facilities, and government agencies. Social workers provide a variety of services depending on their setting and client needs. Social work is a growing field. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 9% employment growth rate for all social workers from 2021-31, outpacing the average growth for other fields.

Learn more about this rewarding field as well as the major at Lehman College. Admission requirements will also be discussed.

The Fall 2024 Transfer Fair is being held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Colston Hall Lower Level. The first 30 students who sign in early will get a Transfer Services lined notebook, a gel pen, and a highlighter. Students will be notified via e-mail on November 6th if they are among the first 30.
