Last week, Musical Theatre students had the incredible privilege of meeting a true trailblazer at the New York City campus - none other than our very own , Roy ElKhouri!

After graduating from the Musical Theatre program, Roy took his passion and skills back to his hometown, Beirut. There, he fearlessly dove into the world of theatre and founded a wildly successful company that's been making waves ever since. He's the living embodiment of Sondheim's words: he 'made a hat where there never was a hat'! 🎩💥⁣⁣

Maria Lane, an alumni of the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at The New York Film Academy, has just finished a sold out run of Spring Awakening. She both self-produced and starred in the production as Wendla Bergmann.
Spring Awakening played at the 30th St Theater and ran October 21-24, with a full sold out run. The performance from opening night is available for streaming until October 31st on showtix4u.

The film chronicles the fight to save live theatre amid a historic shutdown and will make its premiere at Broadway's Majestic Theatre in a one-night-only fundraiser benefiting The Actors Fund.
