We have begun!
And my heart is VERY full.
We have space for one more person…
Is it you?

When I pause and allow myself to really absorb the depth of connection we have managed to cultivate as an international community of students, seekers, practitioners, I almost can’t believe it — but I know it’s true because these people and our mutual commitment to one another has taken up permanent residence in my heart.
Dione and I met through one of my teachers, in 2020. We began studying and practicing together and very quickly discovered a bond akin to sisterhood. Though we have only met once in person (randomly in Miami — she happened to be there so we made the trip to see her), we have a very close kinship woven through hours of contemplation, conversation, and simply holding space for one another through the ups and downs of both practice and life.
Sometimes people wonder if they will enjoy the same level of community and connection in a predominantly ‘on-line’ training as they would ‘in-person. I think we might actually experience more! There is something about inviting a screenful of like-intended humans from around the world into your personal space day after day, week after week, month after month, and conversing about topics you likely don’t have the opportunity to explore in your ‘normal’ life. These conversations often lead to breakdowns, breakthroughs, epiphanies, laughter, rage, tears — all held within the compassionate container of a committed community.
It blows my mind, honestly, but feels sooo right in my heart. A through line you will notice in the testimonials about my trainings is this transformational experience of community. In a world which can feel very isolating, the power of genuine connection is a balm to the soul and can draw you into a more authentic expression of your being. It can feel a lot like coming home.
To anyone seeking this kind of compassionate, caring connection — I invite you to join us. If not for this training, then dip a toe in some other way (Sūtra Satsanga, Together WE SHINE, or the upcoming 200-hour which begins this fall).
If you DO wish to join Embodied Śakti, reach out as soon as you can.
We begin tonight!
Cara came into my life through a mutual friend (the incomparable ❤️ We began our relationship with six months of mentorship which transitioned seamlessly into her participation in Embodied Śakti.
In the time I have known Cara I’ve watched her step into her strength and grace through a season that f tremendous change and uncertainty. Cara’s commitment to her student-ship even while hopping between various countries and time zones was pretty astounding. I wasn’t sure how well it was landing with her until I got to experience her teaching about midway through the training. Her integration and embodiment of the philosophy and methodology was palpable. I was blown away. I think she was, too. After that I began seeing a very different Cara, a Cara with more easily perceivable confidence, clarity, determination, and resolve. A Cara who knows who she is, what she wants, what she stands for.
Cara literally moved across the world and back — multiple times — over the course of the 16-month training and allowed the teachings to support her and slowly transform her internally throughout all of the external uncertainty.
I am so proud of her effort and her willingness to let the tradition impact her life so profoundly. It never fails to blow me away — the power this tradition holds for helping us become the person we were always meant to be, and to live the life of our dreams.

One of my very favorite things in life is witnessing, over an extended period of time, the ways in which the philosophies and practices of this extraordinary tradition weave their way into a person’s life — gradually revealing greater and greater joy, beauty, confidence and clarity.
Stef has been in my world for a few years now and watching her bloom right before my eyes has been a tremendous source of inspiration — and validation that maybe, just maybe, I am doing something right with my life ❤️
It isn’t just the ways in which we become a more disciplined teacher or practitioner. It’s the ways in which we expand our capacity to fully embrace life. It’s the ways in which our existence becomes more effortlessly joyful, loving, abundant, and meaningful.
Stefanie is a prime example of what can happen when we allow ourselves to develop genuine devotion ❤️
It isn’t a quick fix. But it is a lasting one. And it continues to grow with you, to challenge you, to nurture you, to support you, and to transform you.
I am SO proud of you ❤️

Thank you, dear Pamela, for sharing your experience of Embodied Śakti ❤️
There is only so much of a ‘sense of the experience’ that I convey through a website, so I’ve asked some of the recent graduates to share a little about the impact the course has had on them.
My heart is very full listening to what they have to say!
We begin Friday, so the next few days my feed will feature the testimonials of these beautiful humans in hopes that their experience might be just what you need to hear to confirm that yes, indeed, you are compelled to join us on this journey.
Just a few spots remaining, I hope one is for you!

One week from today, on 15 May, we begin our life-changing 16-month journey called Embodied Śakti.
An advanced, immersive, practice-centered exploration and experience of traditional Ta***ic yoga shared through the lens of contemporary life.
Key elements of the training include
• a fiercely inclusive and supportive community
• humor, love, compassion, and lived wisdom
• traditional, time-tested technique and methodology
• beauty, abundance, and joy-affirming philosophy
• highly personalized guidance and encouragement
• knowledge which comes vibrantly alive through the power of direct transmission
• self-inquiry, self-responsibility, self-remembrance
• purpose, power, and practical application
Heavily influenced by the wisdom of the Himalayan Tradition as I have received it through my teachers —predominantly Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, as well as Rod Stryker and Tracee Stanley — Embodied Śakti is the culmination of my passion and experience teaching ta***ic yoga and meditation.
If you are ready to transcend imposter syndrome by becoming an embodiment of what you value and believe, join us. You will move profoundly in the direction of maximizing your full potential as a teacher, practitioner, and human being.
• The training is €4,000 which can be paid in monthly installments over 16 or 20 months.
• We gather virtually via Zoom for monthly weekend immersions plus weekly practices and occasional daily guided sadhanas.
• We will be together in community for one week in June 2027 for our in-person portion in Tuscany

What do I mean when I call my teaching ‘traditional’?
The word ‘tradition’ carries a lot of weight in the yoga world these days. Many teachers proudly claim their traditional roots — perhaps to give context to their offerings — perhaps to lend themselves and their offerings greater credibility.
On the other side of the coin we observe a clear obsession with all that is ‘shiny’ and new. Latest equals greatest. Innovation is queen.
While some feel drawn to the ‘tried and true’ clarity, depth and support of a traditional approach to their spiritual practice, others feel constricted by the too-often dogmatic confines of anything that claims to be the ‘one right way.’
Is there a happy medium? Can we walk a path nurtured by a living lineage, an unbroken transmission of wisdom and direct experience with the capacity to guide our journey — without enslaving us or creating a hierarchy of ‘better’ and ‘right?’
Rather than a ‘toe the line,’ ‘blind faith,’ ‘my way or the highway’ approach, is there a tradition of yoga which ebbs and flows along with us in a highly customized way — giving us all that we need, and nothing that we don’t? Is there a spiritual culture which, rather than enforcing an ‘us vs them’ mentality, requires us to find a way to authentically love and embrace all, while hating and excluding none?
Yeah. There is. I think I found it. It has been my home for the last decade or so. And in the spirit of this tradition, I welcome you to learn more.
I recently recorded a conversation with one of my gorgeous teachers, Sandy Anderson. Sandy is one of the senior teachers at the Himalayan Institute, and has dedicated much of her life to exploring, sharing, and being guided by our tradition.
Give the conversation a listen via the link in my bio to hear about our experiences with yoga and life — held in the loving embrace of the Himalayan Tradition.

Together WE SHINE — Overcoming Inertia
One of the definitions of Ta**ra is ‘to weave’ — encouraging us to weave together all that serves our growth and movement toward greater peace, joy, freedom and fulfillment — in both the inner and outer worlds.
This definition extends the j citation to experiment, explore, and play with a whole host of possibilities.
Recently I have grown increasingly excited to learn more about herbs, both those I can grow in my kitchen garden and those I can forage that are growing wild on our land.
I’m learning to cook with them, use them to create potions for my skin, healing tea blends, and so much more. I am very much a beginner here, but the enthusiasm is high! I have been attracted to this sort of wise-woman kitchen witchery for a long time. I LOVE that my spiritual practice not only ‘tolerates’ this kind of magic, but encourages it.
Pursue what brings you joy, my friends, what lights you up. The world will continue to have its fair share of darkness, so we must proactively resource and share our unique light.
I’m curious, what little rituals could you incorporate in your day-to-day that can remind you of the ‘stuff’ that makes life worth living?
And how do you weave that into your spirituality?
