SEE-U Costa Rica: Agroforestry and the Ecology of Coffee is a new field course that will examine the management of agroforestry through the lens of coffee plantations in Costa Rica.
Students will talk to farmers, scientists, and other stakeholders to understand the issues in coffee production, from how management methods impact ecosystems to how to assess what different coffee certifications actually mean.
Program Dates: May 22-June 25
