ANY SUGGESTIONS?
48 years ago I created a unique foundation called Futurific Inc., Foundation for Optimism which received a 501(c)3 tax exempt status. For the same 48 years I have published the foundations monthly magazine called Futurific (currently Futurific Leading Indicators). All of a sudden a major media company found that the name Futurific was great and decided to establish their own organization under the name Futurific. Though I have had a copyright on Futurific since day one, I'm told that a copyright is insufficient and I should have had a trademark. Of course the media company has filed for four trademarks and I'm told that the only way my company can survive is to sue them to stop their four separate legal actions to get them to cease and desist using the name Futurific. Either way they win since if we let them get away with taking the name Futurific we loose. If we try fighting them in the courts we loose. Anyone know of a law firm that would take on this fight?
