We are excited to announce that Ana Celia Aguirre Villarreal, Co-founder and Director of Human Development at Universidad Carolina, has joined The Cloud Institute's Board of Directors!
With extensive experience in human flourishing, social-emotional learning, and community development, Ana Celia has been a driving force in creating educational programs that foster collaboration and trust, such as Aulas Alebrijes and the Leadership for Childhood Seminar.
Ana Celia’s career spans various leadership roles, including teaching at Tec Milenio, co-founding the first IB school in Coahuila, Mexico, and collaborating with prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and MIT. Her work extends to improving well-being in education globally, through the Wellbeing in Higher Education Network, and supporting teacher training through Atentamente, where she is a certified facilitator in socio-emotional skills.
We are thrilled to have Ana Celia on our Board, and we look forward to her insights as we continue to prepare K-12 students and educators for a sustainable future. Her expertise in building sustainable learning communities will strengthen our mission to inspire young people and educators to think critically about their relationship with the world and their ability to influence it.
