The mission for Madison Art House is to support artistic exploration and learning while raising awareness of ways to make our city a more vibrant and sustainable place to live. Through a series of classes that focus on kids, art and our planet, instructor Tu Le will give participants the opportunity to get messy, get creative and find their inner artist by creating new art with discarded but useful materials that are donated from local businesses.

The Madison Children’s Museum is hosting a celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage on Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be Japanese drumming, a Chinese lion, Hmong dancing, Korean food, and much more. It’s all FREE. Mark your calendars now!

The Madison LakeWay Public Art Selection Committee and the Madison Arts Commission are now accepting applications from artists, artist teams, and artist-led companies to provide site-specific artwork as part of the Madison LakeWay project.
The deadline to submit an application is 2:00pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
