I needed this today. I often tell people to take care / be mindful of what kind of music / songs they create…because that song will come true…or that music will come back around…somehow. I can’t say how many times it’s happened to me, but I can say that the moment when my music comes back to teach, comfort, heal, or inspire me…it’s profound. It’s not pride; it’s something like the overlap of deep relief, awe, & gratitude. And oftentimes, the music that is most healing / illuminating for me later was created in times of pain or confusion. Create, people. Make your own medicine. And then, use your own medicine - for yourself. Nothing can touch / reach / move you…like you connecting with you / life / love / creation.

Join therapeutic voice facilitator and Voice Journey founder Stephanie Rooker and acclaimed vibraphonist Chris Dingman for an evening of healing exploration, vocal empowerment, and sonic immersion.

Participants will be guided through a healing and co-creative process that culminates in a joining of our voices with the ethereal and transcendent sounds of Chris Dingman’s vibraphone. You will be invited into an embodied & expansive framework to use voice in ways that cultivate communion with yourself, each other, & life. Our intention is that the accessible tools & collaborative experience we share may open a path for you to free your voice, enhance self-expression, and promote personal & collective healing. No previous experience is needed. Every voice is honored for its uniqueness and supported to grow in ways that maximize its medicine.
