**Language Instruction**
Develop vocabulary and grammar through a range of approaches adapted to your learning style and preferences. Options include an intuitive, step-by-step repetition method inspired by the Michel Thomas approach, as well as more traditional, structured techniques focused on grammar and written expression. Learning a new language opens the door to an entirely new world but let's be honest, it will take persistence and you'll committed only if you love it. Ludwig van Beethoven once said "To play a wrong note is insignificant, to play without passion is inexcusable". This is where I'm coming from, so the most important to me is to get that intuitive/creative right brain of yours working....
As a child you learned your own language naturally and enjoyably, motivated by curiosity and with a great deal of enthusiasm. You can learn French the same way! I teach primarily online, with occasional in-person sessions available when I am in New York City. I also provide complimentary study materials, including eBooks and interactive audio resources. My rates are $110 per hour for individual online lessons and $180 per hour for two students online. For in-person sessions in New York City, I charge $160 per hour and travel within a 10-minute walk of Washington Square Park. My services include:
**Instruction & Language Acquisition**
Beginner (A2 and above) and Intermediate levels (B1, B2), with a focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and practical day-to-day or travel French.
**Conversation & Transcultural Coaching**
Intermediate to Advanced levels (B1–C2), focusing on language development and refinement. Sessions are tailored to topics such as French culture and history, politics, social customs and traditions, as well as slang and humor.
