Acquire vocabulary and grammar using a variety
of approaches tailored on your personality and preferences. Work with your intuition and a step-by-step repetition technique based on the Michel Thomas method or with a more traditional approach based on grammar acquisition and the written word. Bonjour ! I am a native Parisian with a love for helping others develop their bilingual skills. Integrating a whole new world via a new language is a wonderful thing but let's face it, it will take persistence and you'll stick with it ONLY if you love it. Ludwig van Beethoven once said "To play a wrong note is insignificant, to play without passion is inexcusable". You catch my drift? This is where I'm coming from, so the most important to me is to get that intuitive/creative right brain of yours working....
As a child you learned your own language naturally and enjoyably, motivated by curiosity and with a great deal of enthusiasm. You can learn French the same way! For those in New York, I offer Tutoring Sessions and Conversational Coaching in Greenwich Village over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine :)
I'm also available via Skype if it's more convenient for you or if you're located outside of the area or abroad. Additionally I offer proofreading, translation and interpreting consultancy for private clientele (no trade businesses). Understanding correspondence, texts, videos, song lyrics, or communicating with French speaking friends via phone or Skype are all situations I will be happy to help with. My hourly rate is $100/hr per person and $160/hr for duo
