Last year everyone forgot my birthday and I thought this is it… I’ve reached THAT age when no one cares lol but this year proved me wrong. I received so much love from my friends and family. It was a wonderful birthday. Thank you everyone for the calls and texts and cakes and gifts! Thank you God for blessing me to see another birthday. Here’s to another year wiser. 🥂 12/3

I’ll go first… As a girl mom this totally caught me off guard. Enough so; I had to post about it. I would not like if my girls came home and told me they walked their boyfriend to the bus then came home. My husband and I would definitely take issue with that. He should be making sure you get to where you need to be safely. Is chivalry really dead for this generation? What are your thoughts?

I know Mondays initially feel hard but look at it as a new week and a new start to doing what you have to do. Whatever that is. I don’t know about you but I’m on a mission and I definitely favor vacations over weekends! Change your mindset. Have a good Monday! And go vote!

We’re native New Yorkers and we spent the weekend in the city exploring. My youngest daughters wanted to take pictures everywhere. Of course, in return, that made my oldest so mad and embarrassed 😂. We didn’t care. Teens 🤷🏽‍♀️

It was a nice weekend checking out our city though. What about you? Have you ever been a tourist in your own city?

This has been a statement that has resonated with me. One of my friends once told me this and I got so offended because I love being a mom and my children are such a big part in my drive and inspiration to be the best version of myself. It felt as if I wasn’t doing enough career wise or for myself in her eyes.

I sat on it and thought about what she said and brought it up to her and she said she definitely had no intention to hurt my feelings and didn’t mean it how I took it just that I have so many goals that she knows I want to reach and wants to see me achieve them. I know their was no malice there but it definitely had my wheels turning.

Many times I have heard friends mention that they are trying to find who they are outside of being a mom and I get that. Totally. As moms we give our all into moming and sometimes we lose ourselves. It’s a hard job to juggle but we make it happen.

This statement was on my heart and I just wanted to speak to you ladies because it doesn’t make you a bad mom to want more for yourself and there is also nothing wrong with giving your all to this mom thing. You do what’s best for you. I always say and live by that. Whatever makes you happy as a woman, a mom, a person you do that. That’s it. I hope this touched someone. If it did drop a 💕

Morning moms!

I had a few of my friends over and their children this weekend. It was a nice time.

The kids had a few disputes and some of the moms as well lol but everyone made up in the end. Some makeups were quicker than others but all was indeed made up.

While sitting out and enjoying the day I noticed some similarities as well as some differences in how we all mom and moming ain’t always easy!! But we make it through.

There’s a hard side but also a fun side of moming. Our children all look to us, and share with us and make us smile and laugh. We all have our side giggles and jokes with them. It’s a wonderful journey that I am so lucky to enjoy every day. I guess this is a appreciation post. I woke up feeling blessed. Drop a ❤️ if you’re feeling this way this morning.

The beach can be the most relaxing time but also stressful at the same damn time!

I don’t know about you but I have a tight grip on “the littles” hands while at the beach. They are fearless and me fearful! 😩

I love sitting in the sand but the trips to the water I’m on edge. Lol

We had a nice beach morning though… 🏖🌊

That’s some food for thought we know that little eyes are always watching. They’re even watching to learn how to love so it’s up to us to teach them that. Whether they see you showing love with your spouse or friends but especially towards them try and be the best example to show our kids how to love. Love unconditionally and wholeheartedly.

We have enough hate in this world it’s up to us to keep the love going for generations to come.
