Bed Stuy Collegiate In our 8th year serving the community of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY.

Entering our 7th year in operation, we hope to use this page to improve communication with our Bed Stuy Collegiate families and the BSC community regarding BSC events and related activities. Please come here for up-to-date information on everything from fun FIC events like our annual Back to School BBQ to more detailed information like when your child's next progress report is coming home. We have

created this page in an effort to make communication about important news and events easier in the hopes that we can increase engagement between our staff, our families and the community. We believe that more purposeful communication will lead to a more successful school and a more thriving culture and we are excited to see how this increase in communication home will positively effect Bed Stuy Collegiate.

Tuesday, 5/9 Dress Like Your Role Model Day!
You MAY wear…
• Sneakers/dress shoes.
• Accessories! Ex: Glasses, jewelry, scarf, etc.
• Jackets and blazers.
• Dresses/skirts/button downs.
• Athletic jerseys with a SHIRT underneath.
You may NOT wear…
• High heels/open toed shoes.
• Jeans.
• Hoodies or sweatpants.
• Tank/sleeveless tops.
• Clothing with inappropriate language or images.
• Hats
Bottom line: dress as if your role model were going to an interview in professional attire!

Join us for a day of advocacy and action in Albany on Wednesday, January 18th. Mr. Chou will be leading a group of parents in a trip to the state capital to show our support for great schools like BSC.
