Watch live as teams from across New York compete for the title of Iron Designer! This year’s event will be held Thursday, June 6th at 6:00pm on SDC’s roof-deck.
Based on the popular television show “The Iron Chef”, the Iron Designer Challenge will raise funds to support the design program of the School of Design and Construction (SDC). Team of professionals from New York City, partnered with SDC students, will face-off in the ultimate design/ build competition: in 3 hours construct a life-size structure made from simple, everyday materials.
