Last Thursday, we celebrated our Tzahov Room graduates and all the memories, friendships, and milestones that brought them to this moment.
The sense of belonging our children feel, and their connection to Shabbat, holidays, Jewish learning, and community, is a gift that lasts far beyond preschool. While their time at My Little School is ending, their Jewish journey is just beginning.
Mazal Tov to our graduates!
We are so proud of you and canβt wait to see where your wings take you next.
Parents: Stay connected. Keep building Jewish memories, friendships, pride, and joy together. We canβt wait to welcome your children to Hebrew School this fall.

Since October 7th, we have had the privilege of hosting this group of Israeli teens three times - many of whom have experienced unimaginable personal loss in the aftermath of the war.
The first time they visited, having landed from Israel just hours earlier, they arrived exhausted yet carrying an extraordinary sense of strength, warmth, and resilience that deeply moved our community. We watched them laugh together, support one another, and find moments of light despite so much heartbreak.
At the same time, there was profound emotion in seeing them place memorial stickers on the doors of our Shul in memory of the parents, siblings, and loved ones they have lost.
Towards the end of June we will once again welcome them to our community for a special lunch and gathering.
Especially during times like these, creating spaces of connection, healing, and Jewish solidarity matters deeply.
If youβd like to join this special lunch or help towards sponsoring it, DM us and weβll connect. π

Curtain call on an amazing year of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories at Chabad of Tribeca Hebrew School with thanks to the amazing teachers and adminstrators who make it all happen. π
Hebrew School is about so much more than the few hours each week that our students attend.
It is about helping our children build pride in who they are. It is about giving them a sense of belonging, connection, friendship, values, and identity in a world where those things can so easily feel diluted or disconnected.
Through Hebrew School at Chabad of Tribeca, our children are not only learning Hebrew letters, prayers, holidays, and traditions, they are becoming part of something bigger than themselves: a living Jewish community and story that stretches across generations.
Last week, we celebrated not only everything they have accomplished, but the beautiful future we are building together through them.
Registration for the 2026β27 year is ongoing at tribecahebrewschool.com or via the link in bio.

The holiday of Shavuot begins tonight and ends on Saturday night (2 evenings, 2 days), Shavuot is the holiday that celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai over 3,300 years ago and marks the culmination of the seven-week Omer counting period between Passover and Shavuot.
More than a historical event, it is seen as an opportunity each year to renew our connection to Torah, Jewish identity, and spiritual growth.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe taught us that receiving the Torah was never meant to be a one-time historical event, but an ongoing process of growth, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
Just as the Jewish people prepared themselves before standing at Sinai, we too are invited to slow down, create space from distraction, and reconnect with what truly matters.
True freedom is not only physical freedom, but the ability to live with purpose, values, and inner clarity.
Each year and even each day we are given the opportunity to approach Torah, wisdom, and personal growth with fresh energy and openness.
May this Shavuot inspire us to prepare with intention, receive with joy, and strengthen the sense of meaning, connection, and community we build together every day.
HOW: The holiday is traditionally celebrated through festive meals, staying up late to study Torah (*Thursday eve*), hearing the Ten Commandments read in synagogue (*Friday morning*), eating dairy foods, and gathering together in community. Shavuot also emphasizes that Torah and Jewish tradition belong to every Jew, men, women, and children alike and invites us to reconnect with learning, purpose, and meaningful community.
Chag Sameach and enjoy Memorial Day weekend!

A true Shehecheyanu moment, a moment of profound gratitude for having reached this day together.
Three weeks ago, on May 27, the sky quite literally fell in as the building that houses our preschool suffered damage that necessitated a full closure. What followed were weeks that tested us logistically, emotionally, and communally.
Today, we received the news we had all been hoping and praying for: as of tomorrow morning, we will officially be returning to our beloved school.
There is truly a long list of people who carried us through these difficult weeks, and this moment belongs to all of them. We cannot thank our staff, families and entire community enough for the incredible support all around.
To every person who checked in, offered help, made calls, built or moved furniture, ordered meals and gifts to show appreciation to our staff, created spreadsheets, sent encouragement, solved problems behind the scenes, or simply showed up when needed: thank you.
These past few weeks reminded us that community is not just something we talk about, it is something we build together in real time, especially in moments of challenge.
It truly takes a village, and we could not have gotten through this without ours.
We feel profoundly blessed to be surrounded by such a caring, resilient, and extraordinary community, and we could not be more grateful to be coming home. ΧΧΧΧͺΧ.
