Skandasana : side lunge (variation).
This is more of transition pose.. it is a fantastic pose in and out of Malasana (Garland) or Utkata Konasa (Goddess pose).
This pose creates stength in the legs, improves balance and core strength.
It stretches the hamstrings.

Malasana -Garland pose.... such a grounding pose. When I feel a bit of sort and into my head I love to get into that pose and take 5 to 10 breaths.
Physically it is a great hip opener. It helps stretch the upper and lower back, the groin, the ankles. It also aids in digestion.

This flow has some of my favorite poses to help open up the hips nd loosening up the lower back. Practicing them regularly keeps me limber and able to still do the splits even after 4 knee surgeries.
What is your yoga goal?

A little late with my 2 year comparison this year. 2 year locked in August 2020.
So much has happened. I have combined many locs. I have had some gorgeous atebas by .me. My cats chewed some locs to the point of breaking. I have since reattached one. I have had several mishaps while shaving the sides. The last one thinned out at least 5 locs which caused me to change my parting side which you can't see in the pic since I did a mirror flip on the picture for symmetry.
I have bought crochet hooks and did my roots for the first time in a year. Oh and I have many flat locs due long diving days and sleeping with wet hair.
I am still loving the loc journey. They have taught me so much about surrendering, acceptance, resiliance.
Share your loc journey with me.

A semicolon is used when an author could've chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. October is mental health awareness month. Whatever you are going thru I see you. You got this!
