Writing NYC nursery school or independent school applications?

Remember the time tested writing advice, "show, don't tell."

A word-picture is more memorable and gives more information than a list of your child's attributes.

Jot down little anecdotes throughout the day that you feel represent something important about your child. This will be a bank of word-pictures you can draw on when you write your essays.

Making sure you-all know that Mandell is closing its K-8 school at the end of the 2016-17 school year. The preschools will continue. Basis School is taking over the Mandell facility on Columbus Avenue.
