LEAP Bridge to College
Post-secondary transition program for college-bound young people from particularly vulnerable populations. With a duel social-emotional and academic focus, students get ready for college writing, math, and project-based work and build skills in time and stress management, major and course selection, self-advocacy and financial management. ·

Paid Internships (HS Students) @ Columbia University

Columbia University will hire seven paid interns to work in the Facilities Department and Operations Department this summer.

The internships are structured to support high school students from the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone and the four southernmost zip codes in the Bronx. This internship is not only a great way for students to explore potential areas of career interest, it is also an important addition to their enhancing their college application. Columbia University Facilities and Operations is offering a number of paid summer internships for high school students living in the local community who are looking to gain real work experience before graduation. The paid internships begin on July 10, 2017 and end on August 18, 2017. Applicants must be 16 years old at the time of the start of the internship and will need to provide working papers.

High School Girls - Power Play SuperSTARS Leadership Academy

On behalf of PowerPlay NYC, a nonprofit dedicated to developing girls to become physically, emotionally and academically stronger, we're excited to share that the application for our SuperSTARS Leadership Academy is now live! PowerPlay NYC’s SuperSTARSLeadership Academy(SSLA) is a FREE year-long youth development program for High School girls!
