If you know Grandma Myrtle aka Mrs. Henderson you know that our apartment was the place the family both tons of close and tons of extended family and friends came to dine with us. Don’t nobody and I mean nobody make sweet potato pie like grandma’s. Happy I was able to spend kitchen time with her and do what I do in her honor. Like grandma I had a large family to ensure we could always do things like my heroes Grandma, Aunt Lillie Mae, Mrs Williams, & Cousin Clemy who was sure to help grandma’s holiday sales even more special. Grandma’s baked good provided for many growing up. In the neighborhood, the church, and extended outside customers.
