๐ซ๐ Digging Into Learning! ๐๐ซ The Flamingos brought our garden study to life by creating tasty dirt cups! Using chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms, the children layered ingredients to make a fun garden-inspired snack. Cooking experiences help young children build independence, develop fine motor skills, and explore math and science concepts through measuring, pouring, mixing, and observing. Most importantly, they create opportunities for children to learn through playโand enjoy a delicious reward at the end!

๐ป Growing Together: A Garden Adventure ๐ป Our youngest gardeners explored the question: โWhat if a flower were as tall as me?โ The children delighted in seeing their faces become part of a beautiful classroom garden! Teachers placed each childโs photo inside a flower and used ribbons to measure their height, creating a wall display filled with flowers of different sizes.
Activities like this help build early awareness of themselves and others. The children enjoyed looking at their photos, exploring the colorful garden display, and beginning to notice differences in size and height. Through meaningful experiences and playful interactions, even our youngest learners are discovering how they grow and change every day. Just like flowers in a garden, every child grows in their own unique and beautiful way. ๐ผ๐

Happy National Best Friends Day! ๐ฆฉ๐ The Flamingos celebrated by creating a Friendship Tree using their handprints as leaves. Just like a tree grows stronger with every branch, our classroom grows stronger with every friendship. What a wonderful way to celebrate kindness, connection, and teamwork! ๐ณโจ
๐ Tomorrow is National Best Friends Day! Friendship is such an important part of early childhood, and one of the many ways we help children learn about kindness, empathy, sharing, and inclusion is through stories. Reading together opens the door to meaningful conversations about what it means to be a good friend and how we can support one another every day. We love watching these lessons come to life in our classrooms as friendships grow and flourish! ๐
๐ Sensory fun for our Busy Bees! Our teacher prepared colorful sensory rice by mixing rice with vinegar and food coloring, creating a vibrant and engaging experience for our little learners. The infants explored the colorful rice with their feet, feeling the different textures and enjoying the sensory stimulation. Activities like these encourage curiosity, support sensory development, and provide opportunities for discovery through play. ๐๐ฃ
Who says learning only happens indoors? ๐จ๐ Today, the Flamingos took their learning outside! They collaborated on a special drawing, ran and played together, and enjoyed meaningful moments sitting with friends, sharing stories, laughter, and smiles. These everyday interactions help children develop confidence, communication, and lasting friendships.
Big imaginations start with simple materials! ๐ Our little builders enjoyed a day of soft block play, designing, stacking, and experimenting with different ways to build. Whether playing independently or alongside classmates, children practiced important developmental skills while having lots of fun. Watching their creativity come to life is always a joy!
๐งฑโจ Big imaginations at work! These curious little builders worked together to create their very own LEGO chair using teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Once their masterpiece was complete, they sat at opposite ends and enjoyed a sweet conversation together. ๐ From building to bonding, moments like these help children develop communication skills, cooperation, and friendshipsโall while having fun through hands-on play. We love watching our little learners turn their big ideas into something amazing! ๐
๐ Up, down, and all around! The Lions had a blast today playing with the parachute and running beneath its colorful waves. Activities like these help build coordination, cooperation, and confidenceโall while having tons of fun! We loved seeing their happy faces as they laughed and played together in the sunshine.
After reading Dandelions Are For Babies by Morgan Gutierrez, our little artists were inspired to create their very own fingerprint dandelions! ๐ผ Using their tiny fingerprints, the children transformed simple paint into beautiful works of art while exploring creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression. Each dandelion was as unique and special as the child who made it!
