How to teach your child to read in 3 steps
With just the sounds p, a, and t, you can make words like pat, tap, apt, and so much more! The possibilities are endless and I'm so excited for you to start playing with these sounds!
It's amazing how many words you can make with just the "a" and "t" sounds! You can make words like "cat," "bat," "hat," "sat," and so many more.
Keep practicing and soon you'll be a reading pro!
Mastering these 3 letter sounds will unlock many words that your child can read.
Blending CVC words is super fun and easy. All you have to do is take the beginning sound of one word and blend it with the ending sound of another word. Try it out! Check out my bio for full guide.
Teach your child to read in 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Learn your letter sounds, like "b" says "buh" and "s" says "sss".
Step 2: Blend those sounds together to make words, like "buh-aaa-tuh" spells "bat".
Step 3: Put those words together to make sentences, like "I see the cat." Ta-da, you're a reading genius!
One day, they won’t remember the lessons…
but they’ll carry the confidence forever.
I wish someone taught me this as a kid. Would have made reading a much more pleasant experience.
