The show runs in New York from January 9–March 29, 2026, with opening night on January 25, 2026.

Congratulations to our MFA Dramatic Writing student Gabriel Henneman on the Variety mention this week for being selected as one of ten finalists for the 2025 Sloan Student Prizes from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s nationwide film program!

Archduke is the latest work from DDW alum Rajiv Joseph (MFA ’04). The production runs October 23–December 21, 2025 at Roundabout Theatre Company (Laura Pels Theatre).

Congratulations to NYU alum (BFA ’17) on her 2026 Golden Globe Awards nominations for her work on The Bear.

DDW alum (BFA ’15) will share a free reading of her new play Mabel’s Mine with Page 73 on December 12 at Theatre 154. As a 2025 Page 73 Writers Group member, she continues to craft compelling, character-driven work, this time following two sisters working in the oil sands of Northern Alberta.

Dramatic Writing alum Andrew Moorhead (MFA '21) is presenting a site-specific production of This Purple Fu***ng Pot, staged in a Midtown office space. The production is playing now through November 23 and is Executive Produced by LDK Productions (Be More Chill, Celino V. Barnes).

Congratulations to Sasha Stewart (DDW Adjunct Professor) for winning the WGAw Evan Somers Memorial Award at the Media Access Awards for her work on Dying for S*x!

The award recognizes excellence in disability representation in television and film. The ceremony will air on PBS on November 5.
