Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day reflecting on the end of slavery in the United States and a celebration of African American culture, resilience, and achievement. ✊🏾✨

In nursing, excellence is our heritage. We stand on the shoulders of the pioneers who fought for the right to care, to lead, and to heal. At Feuer Nursing Review, we are proud to empower the diverse voices that make the heartbeat of healthcare stronger every day.

Today we rest, reflect, and celebrate. Tomorrow, we continue to lead the way in nursing excellence. Happy Juneteenth!

Graduated nursing school in 2001. A widow raising children. Working two jobs.

She bravely attempted the NCLEX this past May, but between the heavy weight of life, family, and survival, the preparation just wasn't strong enough. The focus wasn’t there, and the study hours felt ineffective.

If this feels like your reality—if you are drowning in responsibilities and trying to fit a massive board exam into the tiny cracks of an exhausting life—we want you to hear what Professor Feuer told this student: You are already doing something incredible. You are persevering.

To even try under that kind of pressure means you have a baseline of strength that most people can't imagine. In fact, Professor Feuer believes a student like this is 80% of the way there.

You don’t need more hours in the day—you just need a definitive, strategic map for the few hours you do have. When you know exactly what to study, how to study, and when to study, the chaos turns into control.

Your 2001 degree still holds your future. Your family is your ""why,"" not the barrier. With the right structure, organization, and a realistic plan tailored to a busy life, you will pass the next time.

The NGN Bowtie question finally explained simply. 🎀

If you've seen a bowtie question and thought — 'wait, what am I even choosing?' — this is for you.

The bowtie format tests your ability to:
✅ Identify the priority condition
✅ Select appropriate interventions
✅ Choose the right parameters to monitor

The key that most students miss? You have to nail the CENTER first. The sides flow from there.

DKA vs. HHS — most students can't tell them apart under pressure. Can you? 🩺

Same high glucose. Very different management. On the NGN, you won't just be asked 'what is this?' You'll be asked to analyze a cluster of abnormal values — and decide what the data means before you act.

This carousel walks you through the exact thinking process. Pay special attention to slide 3 — it's where most students lose points.

Tip: Screenshot slide 3 before your next ATI or practice exam.

You graduated in October 2025. Your school gave you ATI, and your classmates swear it "overprepared" them. It feels like a solid foundation—but you still haven’t taken the test yet, and the hesitation is starting to build.

If you are stuck in the limbo between graduating and testing, here is a piece of advice from Professor Feuer: Beware of the ""Multiple Resource Trap.""

When you are nervous about the NCLEX, it’s easy to start collecting study guides like safety blankets. You use your school materials, you buy another question bank, you watch YouTube videos, and you scroll through forums.

But here is what actually happens: Instead of feeling more prepared, you reach a state of sensory overload. Your brain gets overwhelmed by trying to process different teaching styles, different strategies, and endless data.

Professor Feuer’s advice is simple: Narrow down your sources to 1 or 2 at most.

You don’t need more resources; you need a clear, focused path. Don't let resource fragmentation stall your progress any longer. It's time to streamline your focus, protect your peace of mind, and finally book that test date with confidence.

30 minutes postpartum. BP 88/52. Bleeding. What's your FIRST move? 🩸

This is one of the most high-stakes NGN scenarios — and one of the most commonly missed. Not because nurses don't know about PPH. But because under pressure, they skip steps. Swipe through this carousel to see the correct priority order and — more importantly — understand WHY the sequence matters on the NGN.

Save this for your OB rotation. And comment below — did you get the first action right?

"Graduated nursing school in 2018. Took the exam 5 times. Studied completely alone.

If this sounds like your story, we want you to know two things: You are not broken, and you are definitely not alone. 🩺✨

Mrs. Feuer has spoken with countless repeat test-takers in this exact situation. When you study by yourself for years, you actually end up covering all the concepts. You know the nursing material. What’s missing isn’t your intelligence—it’s a highly structured study plan designed for the Next-Gen NCLEX.

So many of our students took the exam multiple times, feeling stuck in a cycle of isolation and frustration, until they came to Feuer. We helped them break the pattern, organize their prep, and finally see the word: PASSED.

Your 2018 degree still matters. Your dream of practicing in the U.S. is still alive. Let’s stop the guessing games and build a concrete roadmap together.
