Mid-Hudson friends - I'll be back teaching and dancing in the neighborhood for the first time in over a year this coming Sunday. Please join me at the beautiful Center for Performance and Embodiment Practice for this class and jam - I'll be excited to see you again!

The class will be a bit later than our regular times, from 5 - 7:30 PM.

Bio:
Ophra Wolf is a dancer, somatic educator, multimedia artist and interfaith minister. She is dedicated to a lifelong study of movement and embodied intelligence as a vehicle for personal and cultural transformation. Improvisation is her core practice, and Contact Improvisation in particular is foundational to her development as an artist. She has taught and performed internationally and is the creator of Newburgh Open Movement. Having studied and performed with Improvisational masters from around the world, including Steve Paxton, Lisa Nelson, and Mario Biagini to name a few, as well as with healing masters from the worlds of Qi Gong, shamanism, and various forms of bodywork, she’s privileged to spread the gospel of playful, embodied presence as the key to healthy relations with all beings.

Hello friends who love to dance and friends who wish they were dancing more! Jungwoong Kim and I (Ophra Wolf) are hosting the upcoming Fall Jam at Earthdance, October 20 - 23.

Besides the obvious draws of heated wood floors, a wood burning sauna, beautiful woods with Fall colors to roam in and three healthy meals a day, there will be childcare available and there are still a number of deeply discounted Equity and Accessibility tickets and sliding scale options - you can join for as little as $150 and we'd be so thrilled to have you there. This is a community gathering and open to all levels, abilities and ages.
