History made in Queens! 🎉 Cassandra A. Johnson ’03C, ’06L, a proud St. John's University graduate, was ceremonially inducted as the first woman and person of color to serve as Queens County Surrogate’s Court Judge. 👏
As a student, she excelled in the elder law clinic, representing clients in foreclosure defense—laying the foundation for a career of breaking barriers, including becoming the first Haitian American woman elected to a State Supreme Court. ⚖️
