... whether it’s learning in the garden, making mud pies in the mud kitchen, enjoying water day, bringing in a tarantula to learn more about arachnids πŸ•· and or finishing our weekly farm animal theme with a petting zoo, we use all mediums to teach our lesson plans ... huge thank you to our teachers and parents πŸ₯ΊπŸ’•

Hey Everyone!!!!!

I am writing this letter in regards to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that our World is facing. The Governor has mandated school closures until at least March 27, 2020. With that decision being made, I have decided to add some additional steps to assure that LillyPatch Kids can remain open and that our staff, children and families have the best chance at staying healthy. Rest assured that as a member of the law enforcement community I have taken all risk factors into consideration, but have to find a balance for the families like myself who are essential personnel.

I have outlined some very important points.

* LillyPatch Kids will remain open and operating as normal. It is your chioce to send your child to Daycare, or to keep them home. There is zero judgement in the choice you make. We all have personal reasons that may cause us to sway one way or the other.

* We are implementing the 72 Hour Rule that is recommended by the CDC at this time. Your child MUST be fever free for 72 hours before returning to childcare.

* If you or anyone in your immediate family has been directly exposed to someone with COVID-19 you cannot return to daycare for at least 14 days.

* Starting on March 16th, We will be taking daily temperatures of each child and keeping a log. Any child with a temp of over 99.4 degrees, will be isolated and sent home immediately.

* DO NOT SEND A SICK CHILD! If your child is showing any cold and flu symptoms that surpass the typical runny nose or occasional cough, they do not belong at daycare. Please be diligent in making the best choice for your child and the others in our care. If their symptoms affect their daily temperament, health, or safety then they need to be home with you.

* We are taking extra measures with sanitizing and disinfecting.

* The state has not mandated any closures for daycares as of now, we will cross that bridge when we get there and we are treading lightly and looking to continue providing care so parents can continue to work and provide for their families.

* I have not start experiencing shortages of supplies but in the event that I do, I shall be reaching out to parents. Please have wipes and diapers available and stocked. ANY EXTRA HAND SANITIZER, please feel free to send our way!

* Your children's healthy and safety are always our number one priority. Even in this critical time in our lives, I can guarantee you that their daily life at LillyPatch Kids will remain unchanged.

* Fees will remain the same with payments being due on Fridays . If you are working from home, payment is still expected to hold your child's spot.

More than ever this is a time to be united and provide our children with a sense of security, even if we may not feel secure. I know there is a wave of emotions, thoughts, and fears that circle around this Coronavirus, and I want you to know this is a safe place to share them and find support. We will get through this!!!

I am sending my love, thoughts, and wishes of good health to each one of you. I am thankful to have you in my life and as a part of LillyPatch. Together we will survive a page in the history book! Take care of yourselves and your families, and do whatever you need to do to keep everyone safe!

Much love to you all,
Lilly Patch family

Dear Parents... during inclement weather we are requesting a drop off time of 09:30a as the latest admittance time. Although we understand the difficulties of navigating the roads and want everyone here safe, we also need to keep to our schedule (preschool activities, feedings and such) and prefer the day not to be completely chaotic with random drop ins. Please let us know, drive safe and see you soon.
