SCREENWRITING (Aug. 29 - Nov. 14)

DIRECTING & WORKING WITH ACTORS (Nov. 21 - Jan. 2)
CINEMATOGRAPHY (Nov. 20 - Jan. 1)
PREPRODUCTION & PRODUCTION (Jan. 9 - March 13)

POST-PRODUCTION (editing) (March 20 - June 19)

The Program is designed to guide students through the entire process of making a short film from story idea to full completion while providing them with solid working knowledge of all aspects of film production.

Screenwriting is the prerequisite for all other courses.

In light of COVID-19 related travel restrictions and in compliance with NYC and CDC health guidelines Manhattan Film Academy has cancelled all events and classes until further notice. We are currently working to create remote online courses to keep you all connected during this crisis. We hope to update you soon. Stay safe and healthy.

It is with great sadness that we inform about the passing of our great colleague and friend Ella Sloboda. Ela was a consummate professional, very talented actress, great teacher, and devoted friend. We will miss her dearly.
