The problem is you’re learning academic French instead of real French.

And then you arrive in France…
but conversations still feel fast and awkward.
Small expressions like these make a huge difference in daily life.

Which expression did you already know?
And which one are you going to start using first? Tell us!

Comment “MERCI” (or send it by message) and I’ll send you my free guide:
“6 Conversation Starters Every American Expat Needs to Connect in French.” 🇺🇸🇫🇷

Also, Coaching FLUENCE™ is probably the best program I’ve ever created.

The goal is simple:
help American expats integrate naturally in France in just a few months, not live like permanent tourists for years and not stay stuck to English, in an expat bubble.

And my students’ results prove it every single month.

Most American expats still confuse
SAVOIR vs CONNAÎTRE.

During the last Coaching FLUENCE™ session with Chanté, we built the explanation together.

That’s something important in my coaching:
it’s not a rigid teacher-student relationship.
It’s a real connection, a collaboration.

So we clarify things together, repeat together, and that’s how confusion finally disappears.

My student Chanté is a University professor in the United States, and honestly, she’s been incredibly consistent since the beginning:
dynamic, serious, pleasant to work with, and very disciplined with her practice.

In this coaching session, we simplified one of the biggest confusions in French like this:

• SAVOIR = information
• CONNAÎTRE = identification

And honestly, this is why coaching works differently from normal French classes.

Yes, we laugh a lot during sessions.
But when something creates confusion in real conversations, we slow down, simplify it, repeat it, and practice it until it becomes natural.

Because hearing an explanation once is not enough.
You need repetition to truly assimilate French and stop translating in your head.

That’s exactly what happened here with Chanté.

Not through complicated grammar.
Through communication, repetition, and real spoken French.
That’s the Coaching FLUENCE™ method.

If you want to seriously work on your integration in France, and finally master French in a fun, structured way, comment or send me “FLUENCE” via message or click the link in bio.

You’re moving to France. But nothing changes if your French stays the same.

You can live there for years… and still feel like an outsider. Still meeting your expat friends. Still needing an English speaking doctor, etc…

The real shift happens when you:
• understand how people actually speak
• feel at ease in conversations
• know the social codes and slang

That’s how you integrate.
That’s how you make real friends.
That’s how you stop feeling “the expat on the side”.

So if you want to move to France without stress, avoid culture shock, and actually build a life here, not just change your address…
Start here:
Comment “FRANCE” (or send it in message) and I’ll send you the 10 phrases you need before you move.

Or if you want to go further, click the link in bio to apply for Coaching FLUENCE™. The best program I’ve ever made to help my students who want to succeed in their new life in France! Voilà.

This is what your life in France could look like…
but most Americans choose wrong.
Seriously, I see this mistake all the time.
People choose a place because it looks good or because they enjoyed their vacations. Then they get there and realize… it doesn’t actually fit their life.
Here’s what actually matters:
Do you need sun, or do you need a real city with energy?
Are you building a career, or are you finally slowing down?
Do you want to actually integrate with locals, or just be comfortable around other expats?
Because Paris isn’t France. And the South isn’t all the same. And honestly, some of the smaller cities will give you a better quality of life than anywhere you’ve seen on a reel. But it can feel boring if you like to meet people and doing lots of activities, joining events.
And so most future American expats pick the postcard. Then they spend two years adjusting. So pick your life first, then find the city that fits it.
I’ve lived in multiple cities across France. I know the differences, not from research, from experience. And I can help you figure out what actually makes sense for you.

Send me FRANCE in message and let’s talk.
And yeah… we’ll probably end up talking about your French too hahah! Because whether you’re ready to hear it or not… it’s gonna make or break how fast you feel at home here.
I guess you don’t want to live as an outsider, surrounded by expats… You want to feel like a local too.

You’re not stuck because your French is bad, but because you’re waiting to feel ready.

So you stay in English, you avoid small talk and interactions, and you never step into real conversational French, even though you know it’s possible.

To start having those interactions:

Always say “bonjour” first. Show you want to engage.
Even if you understand only 40%, keep going and use simple reactions like “ah oui” (with a stranger), “et ouais” (informal), “je vois” (I see).
Don’t wait to build perfect sentences. Jump in, react, stay in the flow. That’s enough to start.
And no, it’s not rude to interrupt. Unless you do it all the time hahaha

The truth is:

You don’t want a school because it takes too much time. You’re right.
You don’t want books because the theory feels abstract. True.
You don’t want Duolingo anymore because it feels stupid. True. And most of expats don’t realize that.
You don’t want a language partner because you think you’ll both make mistakes. True, partly.
And you don’t want a tutor or a coach because you think it’s too much work. Not necessarily.

My method has helped thousands of expats and future expats like you who thought the same.
Some had already tried everything. Without a real change, nor a real progress unfortunately.

Here’s what’s different:

You enjoy it, you laugh, you remember it.
And yes, you work. But you don’t burn out. Tasks are pretty simple. Consistency does the job.
Also, I’m with you during the week. To push you, to fix your confusion, and to correct you.
You get a program adapted to your schedule and your pace, with clear weekly objectives so you keep moving forward.

And you don’t get theory only.

You get:

– communication: speak with locals and stop feeling like an outsider
– pronunciation: be understood clearly (your accent is not a problem, it doesn’t need to disappear)
– vocabulary: stop searching for words
– grammar: fix repeated mistakes and build strong basics
– comprehension: stop asking people to repeat, start understanding real conversations

Well, you get everything you need to adapt to life in France!

Most American expats learn French.
Very few actually feel at home in it.

Because nobody tells you this:
Fluency isn’t built on perfect sentences.
It’s built on small phrases people use every single day to connect. And that’s the difference between living in France and actually belonging there.
If you start using these, you’ll feel it immediately. Conversations change. People open up more. You stop sounding like someone passing through. And that’s when your life in France really starts.

This is exactly what we work on inside Coaching FLUENCE™.
So if you’re serious about living in France,
the next step is in the link in bio.

What nobody tells you about living in France… your immersion isn’t working!
You’ve been in France, you hear French every day, everything on your phone is in French and you thought that would be enough? Et non… désolé.
Because immersion without a method is just stress.
That’s the exact problem Coaching FLUENCE™ was built to solve. A clear and simple structure behind the immersion you’re already living, so it actually sticks.
You’ll build real friendships. You’ll handle any situation with ease. You’ll finally feel like you actually belong there.
And honestly, this is the best program I’ve ever created! The fifteen members already inside are seeing real change in their daily life in France.
So if you’re done nodding and smiling through conversations you don’t understand, comment EXPAT (or send a message) and I’ll send you the next step.

You’re highly skilled but French makes you feel…

(You already know.)

José Manuel started around A2–B1. Which is low intermediate level. Today, as you can see, he speaks French… faster than me hahah
His level is B2-C1 (advanced level), the next step is to complete the C1 level. And it was not a miracle. Just training his communication the right way, and enjoying doing it!

So if you’re serious about living in France,
we should talk about your French.

Opening a bank account in France sounds simple… Until the banker starts speaking.

Most American expats in France
don’t struggle with vocabulary. They struggle when the moment becomes real.
The question you didn’t expect.
The form you’re not sure how to fill out.
And tell us:
What’s something in France that’s simple… but feels complicated at first?

If you’re planning your move or already there,
comment FLUENCE and I’ll show you
how to handle real conversations like this.

French just became the 4th most spoken language in the world. And the 2nd most learned.

396 million francophones. 170 million people actively studying it right now.
And yet most Americans living in France still struggle to hold a real conversation the moment it counts.
Because there’s a difference between learning French and actually living in it.
Duolingo makes you fill in blanks. Coaching FLUENCE™ makes you absorb it. The way it’s actually spoken, in real life, in France.

If you’re serious about building a life in the country you chose, this is for you.
Comment "FLUENCE".
Coaching FLUENCE™ is selective.
Designed for serious American expats.
