Oh my goodness, we had such an exciting and edifying experience at ABC Studios. More specifically thank you to the ABC-Univision brainchild Fusion Network for hosting Drew University. We had such a thorough and well-crafted presentation that gave us a great look into the world of broadcast television and media. The breadth and versatility of ABC was astounding. Thank you for giving us a behind the scenes view and for teaching us the details like the robotic cameras and the Ross Overdrive System. (Don't know what that is? Check it out here: http://www.rossvideo.com/control-systems/overdrive/) Also, don't forget to check out the Fusion website here: http://fusion.net.

Today we met with Grey Group, conveniently right around the corner from our classroom! From the obvious looks of their website, our class can definitely verify that it is a company that has been famously effective since 1917, and will continue to be effective! Grey Group is an advertising firm that not only does advertising, but includes Public Relations, Digital, Media and more. Grey Group works together from all different aspects of the company to come together and provide excellent forms of advertisements for well known companies such as Gilette, Haagen-Dazs, Hasbro, Febreze, Kelloggs, Pantene, and TJ Maxx (and those are only a few of them!) The strategic planning of the team desires to figure out who the audience is, and how to connect to them through advertisements. We had a great visit overall and we're done for the week! Look forward to more Tradeswomen Tuesday publishings and pictures from students over the weekend.
