Sometimes, a single conversation can change the way we see our lives.

This week at Machon Chana, we had the privilege of hosting a special farbrengen on Emunah and Bitachon with our very special guest, Rivky Holtzberg.

She shared her powerful personal story, answered the girls’ thoughtful questions, and inspired us to look at life’s challenges from a new perspective—with greater faith, trust, and hope.

It was an evening filled with meaningful conversations, heartfelt inspiration, and lessons that will stay with us long after the farbrengen ended. 💙

As we enter the Nine Days, we take a step back from certain forms of joy to remember the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash and strengthen our hope and prayers for the Geulah.

We’ve put together this simple guide with some of the main customs observed from Rosh Chodesh Av until Tisha B’Av, to help make them easy to remember.

May these days inspire us to add in kindness, Torah, and mitzvos, and may we merit to transform them into days of joy with the coming of Moshiach.

History came to life at the Rebbe’s Library😍
From rare books and handwritten works to personal belongings, portraits, and meaningful artifacts, every corner held a story. The girls loved learning about the history behind these treasures and gaining a deeper appreciation for the legacy of the Rebbe and the Rabbeim.

After our visit, we walked to 770 for Mincha, making the day even more meaningful by strengthening our connection to the Rebbe through tefillah. ❤️

There is something so special about preparing for Shabbos.

This week, we learned how to set a beautiful and welcoming Shabbos table—not just as a decoration, but as a way of honoring the holiness of Shabbos and creating a warm atmosphere at home.

As we prepared together, the girls shared their family stories and traditions connected to getting ready for Shabbos. Every story was different, but they all carried the same feeling: love, anticipation, and the unique warmth that only Shabbos brings.

Sometimes, it’s the little details—a neatly folded napkin, glowing candles, or a thoughtfully set table—that help transform a house into a home ready to welcome Shabbos🕯️✨

There are places that leave a lasting impression on your heart.❤️

This week, our girls had the opportunity to visit the Rebbe’s home. They experienced the warm atmosphere of the house where the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin lived and even had the chance to see the Rebbetzin’s kitchen🤭—a simple yet meaningful reminder of the warmth, care, and hospitality that filled their home.

Our connection to the Rebbe is not only about remembering the past. It is a living connection that continues through learning his teachings, fulfilling mitzvot, and bringing more kindness and light into the world.

For our students, this visit was a special opportunity to strengthen that connection, reflect on the Rebbe’s mission, and be inspired to carry his message into their own lives.
