YPAR IS BACK! ✨ We’re excited to be offering our Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) course as a 2-semester sequence for the first time this year!

We still have a few spots available for Fordham undergraduates who want to learn how to conduct research with young people and communities… and use research as a tool for action and change.

We’re back! 🎉 After a summer social media hiatus, the 3D Lab is gearing up for Fall 2026…

We’re excited for another year of research, YPAR, student opportunities, conferences, community partnerships, and most importantly our amazing students.

Art as action 🎭✨

Based on their survey findings that high schools need more resources for mental health, one of this year’s teams hosted an amazing talent show fundraiser spotlighting Fordham High School for the Arts students. From dance to spoken word to acting, every performance moved us.

Grateful for this new collaboration and for a community that shows up, speaks out, and invests in youth wellbeing. All proceeds go directly toward expanding mental health programming at FHSA. 💛

Belated SRA Post ✨

It was an incredible few days in Toronto… especially grateful to be invited to co-facilitate a YPAR preconference with the amazing Drs. Josie Banales, Jessica Forrester, Régine Débrosse, and Taina Quiles-Kwock, and an inspiring youth panel that reminded us exactly why this work matters.

Loved reconnecting with 3D Lab alumni, catching up with colleagues, learning, and being in community with so many people doing thoughtful, impactful research. Bonus impromptu concert too 🎤
