Art, Roots & Riddim is happening tomorrow, August 28, and I’m so excited for everyone to experience it.

We’ll be featuring 14 incredible artists, along with poets, a featured dancer, a food vendor, a drink vendor, music, culture, and community all in one space.

Come dressed to rep your flag and celebrate the creativity, stories, and spirit of the Caribbean with us.

Labor Day weekend, we’re celebrating Caribbean culture through art, music, food, and community.

Art, Roots & Riddim is officially accepting submissions from artists working in painting, photography, mixed media, illustration, textile art, and sculpture.

📅 Submission deadline: MONDAY, August 10th

Whether your work reflects your heritage, identity, traditions, music, migration, or island life, we’d love to see it. As long as you have Caribbean family, you should apply!

Life gets busy. Between work, family, school, and everything in between, it’s easy to forget to make time for yourself.

That’s why we created Creative Lounge.

A space where you can paint, journal, read, crochet, work on your own creative projects, or simply enjoy a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by art and good people.

Come solo.
Bring a friend.
Bring your laptop.
Bring that project you’ve been putting off.
Or just come because your mind needs a break.

No experience required.
No pressure to be “good” at art.

Meet the faces helping keep Allure running this summer🤍

This season, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming an incredible group of young people through the Summer Youth Employment Program🎉

While many people see the finished events, these interns have been learning everything that happens behind the scenes—from customer service and welcoming guests to studio maintenance, organization, administrative tasks, event preparation, and what it takes to operate a creative business.

Watching them grow over the past few weeks has been one of the highlights of the summer.

Thank you Zuleyka, Chris, Maddie, and William for your hard work, your curiosity, and the positive energy you’ve brought into our space. We’re proud of each of you ❤️
