🎉🎓 We couldn't be more thrilled to announce the college acceptances of Private Prep’s amazing Class of 2026! 🎉💙 Their commitment to excellence, intellectual curiosity, maturity, and self-awareness has been truly inspiring to us. While there are plenty of splashy names on our college list this year (Brown, Columbia, MIT, and Yale, to name a few), we are BURSTING with pride that our students were able to see beyond the noise and make decisions that were truly based on their interests and goals, not just rankings or a bumper sticker. Whether that meant prioritizing proximity to the best political internships or choosing an art school over an Ivy, our students made choices authentic to them. Check out the link below to see a (mostly) complete list of where our students are going to college this year!

We know it’s tempting to prep for finals by pulling consecutive all-nighters, but before you start loading up on Red Bull, consider making it an early night and heading to bed instead. While that may seem counterproductive, the science actually backs us up here: brains (even the brains of young people with lots of energy) need sleep in order to function properly. 🏫🌱 Just as the EA/ED process has deferrals, Regular Decision has its own version of admissions purgatory: the waitlist. Being waitlisted is different from being deferred; if you have been waitlisted, the school is essentially saying that you met all qualifications, and they’d be thrilled to have you…there just isn’t any space (yet).
🏫🌱 So what’s a waitlistee to do? Swipe for our top tips for waitlisted students, and head to our blog for more guidance: https://privateprep.com/blog/so-youve-been-waitlisted/

📑 It’s a well-documented fact that we need to be exposed to an idea numerous times before we can truly internalize it. For instance, did you know it can take up to 40 exposures to a new word before we can successfully integrate it into our vocabulary?!
📑 The earlier you begin exposing yourself to test material, the better it will sink in before the big exam. Discover how to study effectively with our 2026 finals strategy guide!
