Invitation from NewsDoc Alum Caitlin Shamberg:
I wanted to reach out as I'm working at a new kind of film club called Galerie. We're a startup working to create a community around filmmaking, with groundbreaking films to stream, original content and live events.

I thought you and your documentary students might be interested in some of our upcoming events, including live chats with filmmakers and documentary watch parties.

You can go here for a FREE 3-month membership to Galerie that gives you access to everything on our website. Watch curated films, explore original content and join live events.

Here's what's coming up on Galerie:

Galerie curator and director (The Wonder, A Fantastic Woman) Sebastian Lelio will join us on July 9 to talk about his work.

On July 14, documentary filmmaker Boris Mitić will join us for a watch party of Anna, the gripping 1975 documentary about a teenager living on the streets of Rome.
