WELCOME BACK!!!
Carol Bärtges SPIRAL TALK is back!
SAVE THE DATE - January 14 @ 7 PM
Rudolf Steiner’s indications suggest that teaching must begin from the perspective of real life, that it must involve children in active encounters with the phenomena of the world. Imaginative, artistic, experiential learning is where inspiration begins, following a twelve-year journey. These and other such ideas are the basis of the upcoming presentation on the curriculum given by Carol Bärtges, a teacher of literature in our upper school. Ms. Bärtges will share reflections on the “spiraling relationships” inherent in the Waldorf curriculum and trace the thematic development of Steiner’s twelve-year education. How do Waldorf teachers in both the elementary and high school years consciously cultivate the educational soil in which our students thrive? What does that final blossoming look like when students complete the full twelve years of this curriculum?
May this bless you with Peace and Joy.
