We cannot be more proud of our students this year at Poesia Dela! They did an amazing job organizing, hosting, and performing. We are incredibly lucky that each and every one of these amazing people choose to be with us in community and in this AfroBrazilian art form. Thank you all of you and congratulations!

Thanks for Meia Lua Crew for capturing these moments and Angel Pimenta Nagoogs for making this video!

We are beyond exciting to be hosting an Orixa Dance workshop with Sambambaia at Poesia Dela 2026! She will be supported with the amazing live drumming of Jorge Alabe and his students. Both are incredible resources and references in the Bay Area! We also will be in the newly opened rec center at Mosswood Park. Please join us! Residents of Mosswood and Temescal Neighborhoods will receive a discount at the door.
