Dyson College of Arts and Sciences students just introduced a bill. Not metaphorically, literally.
After three years of research and advocacy through our Animal Advocacy Clinic, the RAPTORS Act was introduced today in the New York State Legislature. The bill restricts anticoagulant rodenticides linked to the deaths of hawks, wolves, foxes, and pets across New York. This achievement is the latest in a remarkable track record that includes the Elephant Protection Act and a statewide ban on wildlife killing contests.
