Turns out one of our favorite new art supplies… is the machine that makes them. 🎨🖌️🖨️
We’ve been creating our own art and craft tools with the Bambu Lab P2S, and I genuinely didn’t expect a 3D printer to become such a useful part of our art studio.
What has impressed us most is how easy it is to use and the incredible print quality. Every time we show friends and family what we’ve made, they’re amazed that the pieces actually came from a 3D printer. The finished prints are so smooth and polished and never have that cheap or tacky look I had imagined 3D-printed pieces might have.
We also LOVE the sheer amount of choice on MakerWorld. We obviously went straight for the art and craft supplies, but it goes so far beyond that. You can print toys, games, organizers, home decor, gadgets, replacement parts, educational tools, gifts, seasonal decorations and so much more. It genuinely feels like if you can think of it, there’s a design for it — the list is endless!
And then there are the filament colors 😍 There are practically every color you can think of, with so many beautiful, vibrant options. It makes such a difference when you’re creating things that are going to live in a colorful art studio.
For this project we printed a Rainbow Organizer, Paint Brush Cleaner, Glue Stick Precision Tips, Sensory Sorting Tray, Card Embosser, Flower & Leaf Stamp Set, Pattern Rollers, and a Leak-Proof Paint Palette using designs from MakerWorld.
Safe to say we have a VERY long list of things we want to print next! The kids are lining up everyday to print cool new designs
