Go Lynx!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back very soon!

Another unforgettable Lycée Summer Camp is in the books!

Over four weeks, campers explored, created, played, and discovered—all en français. From returning favorites to new specialized camps like Creative Design & Sewing, Chess, Judo, and Cooking, each day brought new opportunities to build skills, spark curiosity, and make lasting memories with our French-speaking teachers and expert instructors.

Un grand merci to our incredible instructors and after-school team for making every activity a chance to learn.

Cooking Camp with Chef Sylvie!

All week along, campers discovered the joy of cooking while learning at every step—from grocery shopping and reading recipes to measuring ingredients, preparing dishes, and, of course, enjoying the final result.

For this lesson, campers prepared onigiri and pizza. 🍙🍕As they cooked, they practiced French vocabulary and worked together to bring each dish to life.

The icing on the cake? Watching our newest chefs celebrate their accomplishments with a graduation ceremony and diplomas!

Félicitations à nos nouveaux chefs!

Getting creative in French at Lycée Summer Camp! 🎨🧵

Whether they're making music, creating art, or designing handmade projects, campers are exploring their creativity every day—all while learning and speaking French.

In our Creative Design & Sewing Camp, campers didn't just sew, they learned to conjugate one of French's trickiest verbs, too: coudre. Je couds, tu couds, il/elle coud… and voilà, beautiful creations to take home.

Led by our after-school instructor Christine Ahn, campers designed and created woven projects, hand-sewn tissue holders, beach-themed candles, decorated keepsake boxes, and hand-dyed skirts.

Bravo à nos jeunes artistes ! Stay tuned as we continue sharing Summer Camp highlights!

If you've been enjoying Thierry Henry's commentary throughout the World Cup, here's a throwback worth watching.

At the Lycée's 2014 Annual Gala, Thierry Henry received the Charles de Ferry de Fontnouvelle Award, recognizing his exceptional achievements and the values he embodies. He was introduced by his friend and 1998 French World Cup teammate, Youri Djorkaeff.

When Gala Co-Chair Amira Amro asked him, "Fifteen years later, what does it feel like…?" Thierry's response—addressing Youri directly—is a heartfelt reflection on friendship, humility, and the true power of diversity in sports:

"We did it altogether, with all the diversity of the team under one flag," he said.

Take a look. ⚽

A message that feels as meaningful today as ever. Merci, Thierry Henry.
