The advantages of tutoring during the summer include maintaining fluency and comprehension in English language arts, reviewing facts in math and preparing for skills from the upcoming grade. In ELA, students can attend tutoring sessions to make sure they understand the underlying meaning of the text and move forward in their reading levels. In math students can review facts from the previous grade and get an introduction of common core math from the upcoming year. Lastly, students can hone their overall skills throughout the summer to be engaged and have fun along the way.
