In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 and to protect and minimize the exposure of our kababayan and personnel, the Philippine Consulate General in New York will be releasing passports, visas, notarials, civil registration and other documents only by mail effective 1 August 2021. All applicants are required to bring self-addressed stamped USPS Priority Mail envelopes with tracking number on their scheduled appointment date at the Consulate General.

As part of its effort to address Anti-Asian hate incidents, the Philippine Consulate General in New York invites our kababayan to a virtual workshop on self-defense by the Pekiti Tirsia Kali Global Katipunan, an organization that promotes the Filipino martial art of Kali on Wednesday, 07 July 2021 at 7pm.
The art of kali is used by military and police units for combative training while taught to civilians for personal protection.
Kali instructors Mick Alcaraz, Jay Bataclan, Rommel Bognalbal and Robert Chuidian are senior practitioners of the art for many years and advocate the study of kali for fitness, cultural appreciation and self-defense.
