We need your help to find information about Ricardo Rogers. Thank you.

Rosalinda Santana: “Hi, I need your help in finding a family member that went to Lexington School for the Deaf, I was told. He was born in 1951, so I assume any photos may be from the 60s? His name is Ricardo Rogers and is from Dominican Republic. He passed away in an accident in DR in the year of 1989. Anyone recognize this name? Thank you!”

In this video you will see photos of how the Queens school building was being built from 1966 to 1968. Now the Queens building is 56 years old.

Students and staff moved in January 1968 with unfinished construction in some areas of the school.

Even when the deaf school was moved from the 904 Lexington Avenue red brick school building in Manhattan to a brand new red brick school building at 75th Street in Jackson Heights, Queens, the school name was kept: LEXINGTON.
