The 30th Annual Bert Lucarelli Oboe Master Class will be presented this summer by Charles Huang, The Hart School School Community Division, and Kristin Leitterman, Assistant Professor of Oboe at Arkansas State University. The focus will be on solo performance, the fundamentals of oboe-playing and reed-making skills. Participants will have intensive oboe instruction for five days, resulting in a performance on the last day. Dr. Huang and Dr. Leitterman will work intensively one-on-one with each teacher, carefully assessing each oboist’s strengths and needs to improve performance skills.
