Play is the essential joy of childhood. FIT Toy Design is a BFA program for students to learn to create inspiring toys for the infant to ‘tween markets.
Founded in 1989, the Toy Design Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology is the world's first and foremost accredited baccalaureate program dedicated to toy design. Juniors in the Toy Design program had a phenomenal time visiting Just Play Products on their annual field trip as part of The Toy Industry: Methods and Materials class. The course encourages students to engage in analysis of various processes in the industry - the visit to Just Play is a vital and practical part of that educational process.
