Hip2B Healthy Hip2B Healthy, named by Brooklyn kids, empowers all to create an environment full of healthy choices! Support us!

Two years ago, fourth graders in central Brooklyn - at the heart of the obesity epidemic - decided: It's Hip2B Healthy! They began to grow gardens so they could get fresh food, conduct a school-run Hip2B Healthy Market selling inexpensive produce and nutritious snacks since the nearby bodegas didn't offer any, invited chefs to visit to teach how to cook deliciously and nutritiously, and began exercising more, through soccer, running, bicycling, dancing and more. Seeds in the Middle, also named by the students, became a not for profit corporation. Now donors and generous supporters are helping create Hip2B Healthy schools, where sustainable health is part of the curriculum!
