“El concepto de Lebrón Culinary Training empezó con el deseo de proveer a la comunidad la oportunidad de alimentar ese deseo que los Latinos tenemos de mantenernos al tanto de los aspectos más importan
tes de nuestra cultura, que suele a ser para muchos la comida,” comentó el Sr. Lebron’s Culinary Training inicio sus talleres y seminarios en el año 2008 y su salon de entrenamiento se encuentra localizada en el segundo nivel de “Lebron Restaurant Equipment & Supply” empresa de prestigio en ventas y servicios a la communidad desde 1988. Los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de aprender maravillas culinarias en una cocina amplia y moderna equipada con los equipos más innovadores de la cocina moderna.
“El Sr. Lebròn se ha dedicado a crear servicios y oportunidades para que la comunidad se pueda desarrollar y emprender su propio negocio desde la casa,” comenta Flor Nunez-Pena, la directora ejecutiva de Lebron’s Culinary Training. It is no secret that food is a pivotal aspect of Latino culture. . . . an eternal love affair spanning generations, rich with such a vast mixture of “SALSAS” that to truly appreciate its value requires time, dedication, and a healthy appetite. Helping to keep this love affair smoldering hot is Manuel Lebron, the “EXECUTIVE CHEF” and brains behind Lebron’s Culinary Training (LCT). Since 1988, Manuel Lebron, president of Lebron Restaurant Supply and Equipment has been providing the tri-state area with state of the art foodservice equipment and supplies. Keeping his native Dominican Republic near his heart, this entrepreneur stayed true and close to his roots: Lebron’s Culinary Training is nestled in Washington Heights, one of the most prominent areas reflecting Dominican accomplishment.
“The concept of Lebron’s Culinary Training stems from the wish to provide the Latino community with an outlet with which to cultivate their desire to immerse themselves in something so close to their hearts and identities,” Mr. Lebron’s Culinary Training opened their doors in 2008, and its “classroom” is currently located in a state of the art facility on the second floor of “Lebron Restaurant Supply” a corporation which Mr. Lebron has dedicated himself to creating services and tools geared towards the improvement of the Latino community,” notes Flor Nunez-Pena, the executive administrator of Lebron’s Culinary Training. “Our workshops offer our students a wide range of opportunities to learn about complex baking techniques, exquisite appetizer dishes, and much more.”
Despite its short lifespan, Lebron ‘s Culinary Training has become a prideful entity whose priority is to serve the Hispanic community. This fervent commitment is one of the main attractions for our students. This is evident by the diversity seen in our student pool. Students travel from as far as Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Boston to attend our workshops. Lebron Culinary Training is developing and/or offering the following workshops:
