🇫🇷On Thursday, December 2nd, the FCS hosted a 🎥screening of the Gagarine, the first feature film directed by F***y Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh, in the East Gallery of the Maison Française. The following day, Friday, December 3rd, FCS had the immense honor of welcoming F***y and Jérémy to la MF to discuss Gagarine, along with their upcoming New York-based project, Still I Rise, with Columbia’s French and Francophone students. We would like to thank those who attended for their enthusiasm and their insightful questions. We look forward to organizing more events like this one in the spring.

🇫🇷Ce jeudi 2 décembre, FCS a organisé, dans l’East Gallery de la Maison Française, une 🎥projection du film Gagarine, réalisé par F***y Liatard et Jérémy Trouilh. Le jour suivant, FCS a eu l’immense honneur d’accueillir F***y et Jérémy à la Maison Française pour discussion de leur premier long-métrage, ainsi que de leur prochain projet new yorkais, Still I Rise, avec des étudiants francophones ou francophiles de Columbia. Nous souhaitons remercier tous ceux qui sont venus de leur enthousiasme et nous espérons vous proposer plus d’événements similaires le semestre prochain.

𝐈𝐠𝐚: The community (et les soirées, of course)!! As a freshman, it's hard finding your place on this campus so FCS has truly served as a home away from home. Not to mention, the people on board and who come to our events are incredibly passionate and fun!

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: "If you’ve gotten the chance to talk with me you’ve probably heard me rave about FCS. Coming to college, I found it hard to make genuine friends when going out. FCS throws the kind of kickback events that make this campus feel most homelike. (Also major perk, FCS brings in a fascinating, worldly crowd of people all genuinely excited to meet one another!)"
