We’re officially 3 WEEKS out from WestFest ALL OVER WESTBETH! 💃
All Over Westbeth is a site-specific festival highlighting original works throughout the historic Westbeth 🏘️
FREE guided tours will begin every 30 minutes starting at 1 PM, with the final tour leaving at 3 PM.

Stepping away from our traditional theatre setting, this year’s historic venue is situated in a loft environment that overlooks the Hudson River. Featuring an immersive three-sided audience, old wood floors, soaring ceilings and professional lighting, we’re excited to curate an intimate and atmospheric performance experience for you all!

ABOUT:
WestFest: Top Floor 2026 presents two programs of visionary artists at The Kitchen’s Westbeth location: a historic 3,000+ square foot loft space with 25 windows overlooking the Hudson River. Stepping away from our traditional proscenium venue, this year’s program invites artists to share work for an immersive three-sided audience within a loft environment. Complete with old wood floors and soaring ceilings, the space will be professionally lit to create an intimate and atmospheric performance experience. Selected artists will present an up-to 8-minute piece—new or adapted—across three shared performances.

Stephanie Saywell (she/her) is a NYC-based choreographer, performer, clown, dramaturg, devised-theatre maker, and published poet. She holds a Certificate of Completion from the Dell’ Arte International School of Physical Theatre, plus a BA in Dance and a BA in Written Arts from Bard College. In addition to apprenticing for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Saywell has had the pleasure of performing for Arthur Avilés, Paul Matteson, Peter Kyle, Peggy Florin, Sharleen Chidiac, Witness Relocation, Sam Asa Pratt, Ainesh Madan, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is a graduate of Doug Varone’s DEVICES choreography mentorship program and a recipient of both the Ana Itelman Prize for Choreography and the Streb GO! Commissioning Program for Emerging Artists. Her work has been presented by Streb Lab for Action Mechanics, All Over Westbeth, CreateART, Gibney, Movement Research, Triskelion Arts, Mark Morris Dance Center, Green Space, BAAD!, and Bard College, among others. www.stephaniesaywell.com

Beatriz Castro (she/they) is a latinx, q***r movement artist from Costa Rica, currently based in New York City. Their choreography has been performed at venues such as Abrons Arts Center, The Visionary, Triskelion Arts, Arts On Site, Bridge for Dance, Green Space, The Mark O’Donnell Theater, and Dixon Place. Beatriz has been a member of Spark Movement Collective and Verbal Animal, and worked with artists such as Lauri Stallings, Elena Vazantaris, Antonin Rioche, Elisabeth Motley, Catherine Cabeen, and Damani Pompei.
