Brad Fleischer is a working actor who was recently in “Golden Boy” on Broadway directed by Bartlett Sher through the Lincoln Center, and previously starred in “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo”, directed by Moises Kaufman with Robin Williams. He originated Doug in Rajiv Joseph’s “Gruesome Playground Injuries” with Selma Blair, played Billy in David Rabe’s “Streamers” at the Roundabout, and recently finished working on David Lindsay-Abaire’s “The Good People”, at the Geffen theater in Los Angeles. He also received his MFA from UCSD’s graduate acting program. Film credits include “Walk Among the Tombstones”,‘The Good Shepherd’ as well as guest spots on TV’s ‘Nurse Jackie’, ‘24’, ‘Prison Break’, ‘The Unit’, ‘Jerico’ and ‘Law and Order’. Other Recent theater credits include “Coram Boy” as the title character at the Imperial Theater on Broadway and Pig Farm at South Coast Rep. Through years of instructions by some of the best teachers in the country, Brad believes that every actor’s needs are unique and therefore does not have a singular ideology. The class deals mostly with the actor’s individual process and work ethic, with an emphasis on how to deepen your choices and use your imagination under the many pressures we face. This class is meant to approach our business in a very realistic way with the ultimate goal of making a living as an actor. It has been Brad’s Experience that many classes have become more about numbers and name than about the work. This class will be small (10-12 max) and inexpensive ($340 for 5 classes) so everyone will get a chance to work each class. It is important to note that this class is not for beginning actors, but rather those who are currently auditioning and/or working. The focus of this class is to make a good actor great and help each individual find the process that works for him or her without the holdings of a singular “technique”. The next 5 class LOS ANGELES session will start May 6th and run from 10:30-1:30. Class will then be the same day and time once a week for 5 weeks (MAy 13th, 20th, 27th, and June3rd).
